Terms & Conditions
If a delegate needs to make a cancellation due to unavoidable circumstances, this can be made free of charge, provided it is done so in advance by more than ten working days prior to the course running. We must receive notification of this in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org. Cancellations made after that will be charged the full price.
Transfers onto another course can be made free of charge provided we are notified more than ten working days before the course date. When transfers are made between one and ten working days before the course date, this will incur a £75 administration charge. Transfers made within 24 hours of the course start time will be charged the full amount of both the original course booked in addition to the price of the new course.
Our Cancellation Terms
Dragonfly Training Ltd reserves the right to cancel any advertised course if deemed necessary by the company. Delegates will be informed of a cancellation of a course at least one week prior to the course date. Dragonfly Training will not be liable for any loss incurred. A transfer to an alternative date or refund of the course fee will be offered. If a course is oversubscribed, Dragonfly will attempt to offer you another venue or date if available, but you are not obliged to accept this alternative. We will do our utmost to offer another suitable course date.
Invoices will be issued at the confimation of the course. Unless requested by the delegate otherwise. Payment is required upon receipt of the invoice.
A delegate pack containing full details of course times and the venue will be sent within one week of your booking being confirmed. If for any reason your delegate pack is lost or misplaced, please contact us immediately and we will resend the information to you.
If you have any special access needs or specific dietary requirements, please contact us as soon as possible so we can endeavour to meet your needs on the day.
Please note, the venue of a course is subject to change. On the rare occasion when a venue change is necessary, Dragonfly will provide a comparable venue within the same area and will inform all delegates who are already booked on the course. Please read your delegate pack carefully to see the final and correct venue directions. Dragonfly cannot accept responsibility for delegates who do not read this information properly.
Receipt of any booking request will be confirmed by the issue of a booking confirmation form. Unconfirmed bookings (where a booking confirmation form has not been issued) are not guaranteed. If for any reason your booking confirmation is not received, please contact us immediately and we will resend the form to you. Verbal and telephone bookings will be held for up to seven working days.
Delegates are advised that Dragonfly Training Ltd will endeavour to make them aware of the fee structure at the time of booking. The only variations thereafter should relate to an inset where the final number of delegates and any expenses (which should ideally have been agreed in advance), may differ on the day of the event.
Invoices will be issued at the confirmation of the inset date unless requested by the delegate otherwise. Payment is required upon receipt of the invoice.
If delegates wish to cancel their inset, Dragonfly Training must be informed in writing to email@example.com no less than 30 days prior to the inset, to prevent your school from incurring charges.
If you wish to cancel your school’s inset between 30 and seven days before the event, the cancellation notice must be submitted in writing and a £150 administration fee will be applied. If cancellation occurs less than seven days to the inset taking place, full charges may apply.
A transfer of an inset booking may be arranged to another agreed date, subject to availability; however we reserve the right to charge an administration fee of 10% for alterations. Exceptions to these charges are entirely at the discretion of Dragonfly Training Ltd. If you would like to transfer an inset course date, venue or trainer, please contact us immediately and we will discuss the terms of the transfer.
Flights, visas and accommodation
For international bookings: any flights, hotel, accommodation and visas paid by Dragonfly will be fully charged to the customer in the event of a cancellation.
Dragonfly Training Ltd reserve the right to find an alternative trainer in the event of an accident, sickness, unforeseen circumstances and any other issue arising, to ensure that continuity of service is maintained and objectives achieved.
